How we started
What started out as a hobby for owner, and operator, Donna Palmer, has turned a small business into a sweet sucess. Donna Palmer opened her business in 1999 to offer her creative talent to the general public, while most importantly, offering her flexibility with her two young children. Family has been a part of this adventure from the beginning and it shows. Often you will see her two little ones running around offering assistance and a variety of their photos are located in the sweet shop. "I am so grateful for my sweet children and my wonderful husband who has supported me all along. I have worked extremely hard to establish Sweet Creations, LLC and I am grateful to my customers who have supported me!" Donna Palmer, is a graduate of Quinnipiac University with a degree in business, and is a licensed Real Estate Agent. Donna is a former Mrs. Connecticut America and Mrs. Connecticut International. She is actively involved in the community. When not at the shop, or running with her children, Donna also worked as a background actress on the set of Cashmere Mafia, starring Lucy Liu. She has appeared as a background actress in the upcoming new Movie "Everybody's Fine" Starring Robert DeNiro and Drew Barrymore!
Mrs. Palmer's popcorn is a popular favorite and has been shipped all over the country as well as to our Troops overseas!
